Clint Steindl is the inaugural captain of Tasmania's championship-winning NBL team, the JackJumpers. Having led the team to three consecutive play-off appearances and a 2024 National Basketball League championship victory, he announced his retirement from professional basketball in early 2025. 

In this chat with hosts Emma Azon-Jacometti and Amanda Vallis, Clint describes the journey of the "Jackies" from start-up team to state-wide fanaticism, the differences he's noticed between sporting communities here and those that he's been a part of all over the world, and why he and his family have chosen to stay in Tassie beyond his retirement.
