In Christianity, death is the door to life. The only path to fruitfulness in the Kingdom of God is dying. We cannot expect to experience Pentecost without first the cross. Are we really dead to self?  Are we like Him?  Do we think like Him? Do we act like Him? Do we love like Him?   Jesus endured the cross with the strength and power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus walked, lived, and died in the strength and power of the Holy Spirit. We need the Spirit of God in our lives.
