The Spirit is absolutely necessary and completely sufficient; we need it in everything we do and require nothing else. We don’t control the Spirit, but when we follow, as the children of Israel followed the Pillar of Fire and Cloud; the Spirit falls like fire on Mt. Carmel to expose and purge sin while teaching holiness and judgment.
