If you’re a basketball fan then you’re pretty much guaranteed to know who Clipper Darrell is. He is easily spotted at games in his half red, half blue suits always dancing, cheering, and taunting opposing teams. He is one of the last remaining “clean hecklers” in the NBA today. His energy and love shown towards EVERY player on the Clippers is truly incredible, but whats even more refreshing is his sportsmanship and respect he shows towards opposing players and teams after games. That is something than can get lost in the competitiveness of the average fan these days.

We always knew who Clipper Darrell was, with his customized cars finished with Clippers colors, logo, and autographs. But after 20 years of watching this man pour his heart and soul into this team (from the beginning, to when they were the laughing stock of the NBA, to now being Title contenders), we just had to know more about how Clipper Darrell became to be. His story of becoming a Clipper fan is not what you would think. There is a lot of meaning and inspiration behind it and it makes it very hard to not root for both the Clippers and Clipper Darrell. 

We loved every second of hanging out with Clipper Darrell. He has so much kindness in his heart that goes beyond basketball. Even though he is known as one of the biggest and most loyal NBA fans today, you will never hear him say that he’s a bigger fan than you are. His love and appreciation that he shows to every single player to ever wear that red and blue uniform is truly something special. We really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know Darrell the fan AND the man.
