With less than 2 weeks to go before the legislature adjourns for the year, lawmakers are still passing budget bills. This means that many critical issues will be discarded due to a lack of time. One of the big question marks is whether Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie will allow the Packaging Reduction and Recycling Infrastructure Act to finally come up to a vote after tabling it in the waning hours of the last two legislative sessions.
