Clockroach Podcast

Kody (who sounds only slightly like a distant robot now) and Joshua (whose voice continues to be far more monotone than he thinks it is) discuss the recent Eternal Events. Get ready for Kody’s first impressions on most of the spoilers, as well as Josh’s review of how the five Preview Event cards performed for him. All this and a sprinkling of love, wine, and burritos in this episode!

We send off Robby with a review of the new promos, a discussion about game design principles and what he hopes to learn with DireWolf, and a sprinkling of speculation and designy stuff. Then, in what can only be described as the most expected and simultaneously most dreaded aspect of our show, we let loose with a stream of puns the likes of which have never been read on air.

In this week’s episode, Robby and Josh are joined by Ilya (Ilyak1986) to talk about winning and spiking and future possibilities!

In this episode of the clockroach podcast, we talk about this last lengthy stretch between now and the launch of set 2, and why the sky isn’t quite falling. We also discuss possible secret decklists and perhaps the stupidest experiment performed in Eternal.

Some housekeeping! The podcast is now on google play music here: https://play.google.com/music/listen?authuser&u=0#/ps/Iwiqmmxzn65oilvjtsd2n5brssq In this episode we go over some of our more… interesting scores from the lengthy set reviews and see what went wrong. Also, I have some news about the podcast moving forward and what’s happening. Thanks so much for listening, guys!

Gonna level with you guys this isn’t our best work. We talked over the top two groups of questions from this weeks AMA (which you should go read!) as well as vaguely talked about OP cards and our thoughts on when something is OP. (we don’t have a conclusion)

We will be much more prepared next time and in the future, we’ve learned quite a bit from recording this train wreck.
