People talk a lot about having a “personal relationship with Jesus.”
But Scripture spends far more time talking about growing up, being trained, and becoming mature.
A relationship can exist without growth.
A child has a relationship with their father.
A son who bears responsibility has maturity.
In this message, we look at the difference between knowing Christ personally and actually being formed into His likeness. Obedience. Endurance. Discipline. Fruit. Authority. These are not optional upgrades. They are the expected outcome of following Him.

This is not about losing intimacy with Christ.
It is about refusing to confuse intimacy with immaturity.
