We are definitely in a season where we are getting drained more and more every day. Many are giving up on their dreams. Distractions are everywhere. There is no boundaries to access everywhere. The hustle culture is everywhere. I was telling my son earlier today when there was a time where TV stations would be off the air from midnight to about six in the morning. The channels are very limited, and had two dials: one for UHF and the other for VHF.
News didn't get reported nearly as fast as it is today. Newspapers were the rage to see the latest information what was going on. It took time for things to catch up and be discovered. Being more connected than ever also demands more time from you and me and this is leading to burnout. It leaves little space in between for rest or other things that we need to complete. We are letting our energy and minds have more demand put on them and not doing enough to recharge. Today I bring you a quick analogy that came to my inbox that inspired the topic for this podcast episode.
