Some rumours are just too interesting to pass up. Several years ago we heard one that caught our interest Did Tom Waits write the song 'I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You' in McDaids pub in Dublin? We've launched our investigation into the life of Tom Waits and the history of McDaids pub to see if the story is plausible. We can't guarantee that the facts align, but the story is certainly good. One thing is for sure, if Tom Waits came to Dublin in the early 70s, McDaids would have been the pub for him.
