There’s a beautiful exchange at the heart of the Gospel—one that changes everything about who we are. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NRSV), “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

This isn’t about God lowering His standards—it’s about Jesus meeting them perfectly and giving that perfection to us. When we place our faith in Christ, God no longer sees our failures; He sees His Son’s righteousness covering us completely.

So when guilt whispers that you’re not enough, remember: in Christ, you are more than enough. You are accepted, forgiven, and made right with God—not by your striving, but by His grace.
