This week, Elyse and Laurent take a social media break, and Jason Kalman walks us through his career from industrial design and finance, to working with legendary designer Kelly Wearstler, to partnering with James Magni to form Magni Kalman, a leading modern interior design firm and product line. 

While some interior designers lead with story, Kalman begins with a checklist. Creating a home for his clients requires understanding of both form and function: from whether they read enough for a reading light, or work at home enough for office privacy, Jason focuses on the left-brain analytical approach to the art of interior design.
