In this weeks Art Break, we create art that acknowledges and explores our public and private selves, using a paper mask as a canvas. Knowing ourselves helps us get better at understanding others. When we do that, empathy and compassion can grow.

Materials: A blank paper mask (we use these from Blick Art Supplies, but you can also make your own by drawing or printing a face shape on paper) and Markers, paint, or something else to create color
