This is an introduction into the new season of our podcast, Counting Minutes with Sam. We roll back the dice to the days of high hopes and promises of a great nation, counting down to the despair that has overrun the atmosphere and minds of her citizens. Nigeria promised so much, not just to her citizens but to the rest of the world. But in a masterfully designed disaster format, it has failed woefully to live up to her promises. Nigeria as a country in itself has been a victim of bad leadership which has led to the current state of her ruins.

This new season takes a look at the generation that were born during those eras of great promise and the current state of the nation and how it has changed the trajectory of many.
