Tom Patterson is the Co-Founder and CEO of Tommy John. As a medical device salesman confined to a suit as he traveled from meeting to meeting, he couldn't get through the day without his undershirts, underwear, and socks bunching, pinching and sagging. Instead of getting his base layers in a bunch, he made it his mission to reinvent underwear. With the support of his wife, Erin, a local tailor and a small team of designers, Tom re-imagined the fit, feel and function of our most fundamental layers. Tom and Erin built and patented new features from scratch. The result? Shirts that stay tucked, socks that stay up, and underwear that keeps everything in place.

Tom was born and raised in South Dakota and studied at Arizona State University. In 2008 he founded Tommy John, which has become a leading manufacturer in the United States, with its collection of loungewear and outerwear.
