I interviewed the co-founders, Jack (Chi-Kang) Wu and Leo Hsu of CoolSo at Garage+ in Taipei, Taiwan on March 21st, 2019. They are both very humble and extraordinarily talented individuals who are driven to make the lives of individuals with Musculoskeletal Disorders much more seamless for a more inclusive society using AI and VR applications.
"CoolSo aims to create a groundbreaking gesture control device that is more reliable, user-friendly, and versatile than any other solutions currently on the market. We use patented muscle bio signal technology developed by the founder. The technology is capable of measuring individual finger movement for detailed gesture control, and without the drawback suffered by other solutions on the market. such as being immune to human body perspiration which affects detection accuracy of EMG technology, or sunlight which affects the camera-based solution. We currently focus on AR and VR applications and also pursue cooperation partners in the medical/re-habitation and sports equipment industry."
I hope you enjoy this conversation that I had with them.
