Abe A. Ash is one of the co founders of InterSpaceLiving, a leading company in the student housing furniture industry, and the most recent new division ISL Furnishings which focuses on delivering the best in-class unit furniture for co-living.
Being born and raised in Brooklyn, NY as a part of an extremely tight knit community, values such as family, commitment, and loyalty were instilled in Abe from a young age. When Abe started the company in 2015, with his partners Max and Jeffrey, those very values were the building blocks to creating the foundation of the company that stands today. That’s why for Abe, the culture within the company between employees and the partnerships he has built over the years are more important to him than anything else.
Abe is constantly striving to make sure those relationships are growing and maintained at 100% satisfaction. Whether you have a small project that is 10 suites or a project that is 1,000 suites, Abe gives the same level of dedication.
Max Personal Bio
Max Shalom, born and raised in the importing business in New York City, Co-Founded Interspace Living with Abe in 2015. Through the growth of Interspace in the residential furnishings market, Max has been able to expand his career of bringing value-oriented products to the mass market into a product category that he believes “has deep social and personal impact on the well-being of student and young professionals of today”. Interspace’s success in supplying interior finishes to Student Housing and Co-living properties around the country is closely tied to the partners’ mission to supply modern furniture at a great value that creates an uplifting environment for Millennials and Gen Z as they leave the comforts of their parents’ homes.
After graduating New York University in 2005, Max has held several executive roles at family textile businesses and has managed and executed over $200m of B2B business. He has been instrumental in building the Interspace Living management team alongside Abe and choreographing its customer-focused processes to build and strengthen its reputation of delivering quality finishes ON TIME EVERY TIME with developers, contractors and other property stake holders.
