As we near MLK day, we are reminded of the heart God has for pushing back the darkness and injustice of sin. It has been the story of scripture since the fall. That effects the way that christians pursue justice in step with God's pursuit of justice. This is largely seen in the gospel of Jesus Christ and brought into practice in so many ways. As the new year begins, many are setting goals to implement a new version of self that will better who they are all around. While the desire to be made new is biblical, often times the motivation isn't particularly helpful for the follower of Christ. What does is look like in scripture to be made new?
