Whether you are in a relationship, going it alone, have a close wider family or any other significant people in the life of your child, the chances are, parenting will at times be a shared job. But how do we collaborate with those who have had a different upbringing to us, whose values of culture differs from our own, who have a different experience of life, love, family and recreation? It isn’t always an easy challenge, but when children are involved it is essential that we have considered every angle and know we have done our best to create healthy relationships. In this episode we consider ways of positively and respectfully co parenting, how to put healthy boundaries in place and how to observe the boundaries of others, so that co parenting can become as peaceful and positive as possible.
