Hawks Head Coach Mike Budenholzer. Bud talked about John Collins, how he has played, and what he has earned going into All Star Weekend. Coach Bud described what it’s like to participate in All Star Weekend and the excitement that comes with it.

Mike talked about the playing time for John Collins and whether or not he will unleash him with more playing time. Bud talked about navigating the trade deadline and how players react hearing, the rumors regarding them being possible trade bait. Mike joked about Travis Schlenk having to carry multiple chargers to keep his phone operating for all the calls he is taking and sending. John got Coach Bud to admit he had a burner phone back in his early days. Mike told us he has been to four NBA All Star games over his career as an assistant and Head Coach. Bud said they have created great drama and story lines for the NBA All Star weekend with the captains picking their own teams.
