Coach Chris Knudsen is a longtime high school football coach best known for his 32-year tenure as head coach at Centennial High School in Gresham, Oregon. He served as the Eagles' head football coach from 1986 until his retirement in 2018 with a record of 158-158. Coach Knudsen was recognized for his coaching excellence, having been selected as the large classification state Coach of the Year three times. After retiring from Centennial, he transitioned into roles supporting coaching, including serving as an associate director for the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association. He also serves as a defensive analyst for the College of Siskiyous, where he gets to work alongside his son, Tyler who’s the defensive coordinator.
