Colorado and Syracuse are waiting on a decision from the NCAA regarding a combined spring game in a proposal that demonstrates yet again how Coach Prime is bringing NFL principles to CU. If the Buffs and Orange can set this new trend, everybody wins from players and coaches to media outlets, the NCAA, and fans.
Spring ball is critical for the development of underclassmen as well as the integration of incoming transfers. What are we watching for in the Buffs' spring practices? O-Line improvement and a more dynamic run game. Also, last year's RB trio of Augustave-Welch-Hayden returning for Colorado will allow Pat Shurmur to be more creative on offense without Shedeur Sanders and last year's wealth of weapons at WR.
