Coach Ray Scott was part of the early wave of Black NBA players like Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain who literally changed how the game of professional basketball is played and perceived. As coach of the Detroit Pistons he was named Coach of The Year in1974. Coach Scott is the author of the new book "The NBA in Black & White - The memoir of a Trailblazing NBA Player and Coach" which chronicles his historic time as a player and coach in the NBA.
