Tommy Valentini is the head coach of the division III mens tennis program at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota. The men's tennis program at Gustavus is one of the most successful division III programs in the nation. Tommy took over this program from legendary tennis coach Steve Wilkinson. In our conversation we discuss what he was able to takeaway from such a legendary sports figure, the importance of letting go of the results in order to focus on how we are growing, along with intentionally using sports as a vehicle for growth and development.
