Born in Tonga and raised in Pomona, California, Coach V graduated from UC Davis in 2002 and was part of the Boise State Football Staff from 2003-2010. In 2015, Coach V released his first book, "Life Champion-Life Lessons That Yield Championship Results."
As one of nine children, Coach V immigrated to the U.S. at the age of four, growing up in humble circumstances. He attributes his success to Faith, Hard Work, and the American Dream. Coach V is married to his College Sweetheart, Martha, and they have a daughter, a son, and reside in the Sacramento CA region.
Coach V is hailed as a Champion for Youth in the Sacramento community and beyond. He founded Invictus Youth Foundation in 2013, which became a Non-Profit in August 2014. The foundation uses youth-beloved passion platforms, such as football, soccer, volleyball, college campus experiences, and flight school through the Young Eagles Program, to impart vital life lessons. Its core principles are Character, Choices, and Champions. Coach V's vision for the foundation is that every child in their programs understands CHARACTER, makes CHOICES reflecting the highest level of INTEGRITY, excels in ACADEMICS, and strives to be a CHAMPION in every aspect of life.
