There’s a different style to this week’s show as Chris is joined by her friend Marci Kornegay, Director of Membership at WeCOACH, for a conversation about golf, coaching and how the pandemic has impacted women in the coaching profession. Marci’s first career was as a college golf coach until she got out of the sun and took a desk job. In her current position she has watched how women coaches have had to adjust to the pandemic restraints on their profession and how their coaching styles have adapted. We also hear how she learnt to adapt when she hiked the Appalachian Trail alone—a true test of character and resilience to an ever changing environment. Something we all have learned to a greater or lesser extent during the pandemic. Words of wisdom from a coach turned adventurer.
