1. Alysha Newman (Canadian Pole Vaulter, Bronze in 2024 Olympics) issued a 20-month ban for missed doping tests. Missed 3 tests in a 12 month period (2 in August and 1 in February). The Ban will end in August 2027. The 31 year old also indicated that she is ending her pole vaulting career. "The OnlyFans star...announced Tuesday that she is using her newfound time away from track and field to pursue modeling opportunities after she received an invitation from the iconic lingerie brand to attend an in-person casting call for a chance to walk in the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show"

6. Oh another race got it wrong! The inaugural Astros Race to the Pennant in Houston had a bit of a design flaw. The first 90% of the race was fine but they had the runners go through the concourse and out a tunnel to the field. However that was a very narrow ending and that caused the RACE to move at snail's pace.
