The CPSC and Tech Lighting have recalled Coda pendant light fixtures.  The fixture may detach from the suspending electrical cord allowing the fixture to suddenly drop creating injury hazards for building occupants.  About 670 of these pendant fixtures were sold in the US and about 11 were sold in Canada.  Until the fixture is repaired, avoid walking beneath it.  Contact Tech Lighting at 1-888-475-1136 or via the email [email protected] to receive a free repair kit.  Arrange for the fixture repair and reinstallation by a certified electrician, and Tech Lighting will reimburse you for the cost.
