Jessica wrote Java quietly for ten years, until she discovered conferences, speaking, functional programming, and the excitement of the software industry as it’s changing and growing three years ago. Now she has a dream job at Outpace Systems, writing Clojure from home while pairing remotely with great developers from all over the country. Meanwhile, she speaks at conferences and blogs. Her mission is to bring lessons from other paradigms back to object-oriented developers, to reveal the most useful bits in a way that’s immediately useful.
