Both conditions have the same desired outcome... validation. However, the “tactics” and results of the behavior of both are very different. Though BOTH are considered victims as a result of traumatic mental/emotional abuse and are conditions that should be treated by a medical professional, the abuse from a narcissist is extremely detrimental compared to the behavior of a codependent.
