Hi, My name is Kylie, I am a recovering Codependent and this is the story of how I broke up with my ex boyfriend of 8 years.
When my long-term relationship ended, I found myself lost, as our lives had become deeply intertwined. But hitting rock bottom gave me a unique opportunity to choose which parts of myself I wanted to reclaim.
I’ll take you back to the time I spent a year in the bathtub deep diving into the shadows of my mind, and figuring out how to love the very worst parts of myself. It was a journey of reconnecting with who I truly am, who I had been showing up as, and who I WANTED TO BE MOVING FORWARD, if I was going to stay on the planet.
As I discovered the power of self-love, I realized that the more I valued myself, the less I sought validation from others. And I was gently reminded that sometimes loving yourself - includes loving yourself enough to leave.
