In this episode, Kristin and Leigh spend some time chatting with coffee about a variety of topics centered on their remake journeys and what it means to be a woman on the remake. Leigh shares that she has begun working with a therapist, and taking that simple step already makes her feel more empowered in other areas. Kristin uses her yoga practice for her therapy, and discusses that it’s so much more than getting on the mat. Yoga extends to all aspects of your life. We cover what it means to each of us to be a “woman on the remake.” She’s a woman who has accepted who she is, and is making positive changes to herself. She listened to that inner whisper that told her it’s time to change. She trusts the process and the journey. She has shed any darkness within, and stands firm in her own identity. She is searching for her most authentic self and doing what it takes to get to that authenticity. Being a woman on the remake has less to do with external achievements and more to do with internal changes. Achievements can and do happen once those internal changes are made.
