Thomas H. Ince died at the age of 44 aboard William Randolph Hearst’s yacht – or shortly after he left the yacht, depending on whose version of the story you listen to. Many important celebrities were aboard the yacht that night, including the biggest names in motion pictures of the day. This may or not include legendary filmmaker Charlie Chaplin.
