A movement goal on the BEANTEAM is doing ANYTHING OTHER THAN CONTINUING to sit on our juicy rumps, doing nothing. That's it!

How much easier is it to stand up and show up in life, when we are doing it for someone else? That's the magic, we will show up for the team and in turn, finally start showing up for ourselves.

Who we are: 

The BEANTEAM — a movement of women and Q people 40+ who are ready to get moving in life, literally and figuratively, and we are done doing it alone!

What we're doing: 

Each player will make a 30 Day Commitment to Yourself, Your Goal and Your Team.

What are we committing to?

1. Setting a movement goal for ourselves (anything that gets us off our booties).

2. Team check-in twice a day ( am & pm post in team chat thread).

3. Participate in a Weekly Team Video Call - Share Progress & Struggles (Attend Live or Watch Recording).

4. Being & Having -  a new accountability bean buddy each week (encouraging & replying to your buddy’s daily posts in the team chat thread) for the purpose of both team building and having an opportunity to get out of our heads and show up for someone beyond ourselves - every day.

What is the BEANTEAM?

The BEANTEAM is a movement of women and Q people in the second half of our lives (40+) who are ready to, literally, take that step and commit — to ourselves, and to our team — to MOVE our bodies.

Every player here shares these 3 things in common:

1. We know what it's like to let ourselves down — to fully intend to move, stretch, lift or walk, and not follow through.

2. We know that we are far more likely to follow through when other people are counting on us to do so.

3. We are done wishing for the bodies and lives that we want and we're ready to take the steps required to build them.

That's the whole model. Not more willpower. Not another gym membership. Not another expensive piece of equipment we never use and certainly not a few more months of sitting alone on our asses making excuses and waiting for another false start to arrive on New Year’s Day.  The whole model of the BEANTEAM is exactly that — a team…a team of players who are SO sick and tired of watching our lives scroll by… that we are finally ready to step on the field and start living them, RIGHT NOW.

The only thing you need to do prior to Opening Day is:

Have a quick 1:1 Call with Me, just the two of us so that I can personally say hello and we can get to know each other a little bit before we take the field together.

The New Era of our BeanTeam is Launching September 8th, when those of you who are ready to step fully into the position of "Star Player" in your own lives, will step onto the field with me for the first time.

Over the course of the next few weeks, I will be completely redoing our field, our locker room, our uniforms and especially, my expectations of you as my players, and of me - as I finally, and fully, step into the role I have been training for my whole life - that of Head Coach of this incredible team, the BeanTeam.

I understand that The BeanTeam is not going to be for all of you, or for everyone...quite the opposite in fact. So for you beans who are perfectly happy where are you, fabulous! You don't need to change a thing, just keep an eye out for the updated benefits to your current membership tier, which as I mentioned above, I will be dropping over the next 2-3 weeks.

Along with that update, I will be opening registration for those of you interested in joining the BeanTeam and actually stepping onto the field, with me, for the first time.

1. Our Last Sunday LIVE will be this Sunday, July 19th at 10am EST on TikTok 

2. Our LAST Sunday After Party will ***** START at NOON instead of the usual 11am as the LIVE may go a little longer, and I’m going to need a breather after what I am about to share.

What’s the sport? Life. Whose life? Yours. 

Coffee With Kam is stepping into its next chapter — we are shifting from a concept of community to a movement of action. It has taken me six long years and a massive amount of heartbreak, time, betrayal, pain, struggle, commitment, dedication and a fierce and unyielding belief that, somehow, someway…there would be a reason why I was never able to quit on this mission, or on myself. And holy sh!t… is - there - ever!

As much as I’d love to share that reason now, I feel it would be a disservice to you and to me. You deserve to hear it and I deserve to share it, LIVE. So, I will do just that when I roll my last Sunday LIVE at 10am EST.

The short of it is, the  #🌈beanteam is for you who are DONE talking about it (*and others) and R E A D Y to not only step on the field with us, but to step FULLY into YOURSELF & start living YOUR LIFE. Let's play beanball ya'll!

I came back from the beach with sand in my panties, a little too much sun on my face, and a realization I can’t shake:

I didn’t get sober and quit nicotine so that I could eat cookies.

And I haven’t spent the last six years with an unrelenting passion for being a part of y’all finding a pal or a makeout buddy (though hear me now, GOD I LOVE IT WHEN YOU DO!).

I started Coffee With Kam to be a part of something bigger than me, and to build a space where we can all inspire each other to be more, feel more, say more, and live more than any one of us could ever do, say, or experience alone.

So I’m thinking about creating a daily Bean Team space here at Coffee Unfiltered — not a fitness cult, not toxic positivity, not perfection — just real lesbians/Qs aging together while sharing one thing each morning that we are going to commit to for ourselves.

One thing we find difficult to do when the only person we have to answer to is ourselves… but can not only do, but feel inspired to do, when we know there’s another bean out here cheering us on and looking for a little motivation to do her/their THING as well.

Mountain bikes. Morning walks. Going to bed early. Not boozin’. Skipping the cookies. Calling an old friend who’s been on our to-do list too long. Healing. Dancing. Flirting. Surviving. Thriving.

Whatever your thing today is.
