There is a pernicious doctrine that is taught from time to time which asserts that no one can read the Bible and come to a knowledge of the truth and obey that truth unless one is guided by a Christian. Friends, this doctrine changes the nature of how God interacts with the world trough the Word. This adds another mediator between God and man.
