There is a meme going around facebook which originated in my own backyard. it implies that Jesus died on the cross to take care of COVID-19 so you wouldn't have to bear it. This is such a dangerous meme. I pray that this episode will be heard and folk will understand the hermeneutical gymnastics performed to reach this erroneous conclusion. In the episode I mention an article I wrote about Jesus being forsaken on the cross.
