This week we are doing a series on Cognitive Biases and the role they play in our decision making. In this episode we dive into Confirmation Bias, or the tendency to only listen to pieces of informmmation that strengthen our beliefs. In the world of politics we see this bias at play all the time when Republicans and Democrats from both sides refuse to listen to opposing viewpoints. This creates a lot of polarity and can make us more divided than ever. I also talk about the role social media has in strengthening our beliefs and censoring us from the whole truth.
