Last weekend was one of the biggest crypto gatherings in Europe, CoinfestUK 2019 in Manchester. We spent a day there; looking at what was on display, attending some talks and interviewing some of the players in the British crypto space. We chatted to Gavin Brown (Senior Lecturer in Financial Economics at Manchester Metropolitan University and Co-founder of Blockchain Capital Limited) about his crypto hedge fund and how crypto will change the British financial and taxation system. We gained an insight into how Amazon's main rival in the UK is now taking crypto payments and chatted to Easy Crypto Hunter about whether there's still money to made in mining.
