CoinWeek editor Charles Morgan sits down with Great American Coin Hunt organizer Rob Oberth to discuss the success of the Great American Coin Hunt and its implications for the hobby in this episode of the NLG Award-winning CoinWeek Podcast, brought to you by PCGS.

Rob tells how the effort came together and how he as surprised as we are that this idea grew into a grassroots effort to promote the hobby of coin collecting as collectors and dealers pitched in to seed our circulating coins with collectible coins you don't often encounter in change anymore.

The coup de gras, Rob says, was the U.S. Mint's announcement that it would participate by circulating millions of America the Beautiful quarter dollars struck at the West Point Mint.
