- In 1965 and 1966 he won the NSW Open and NSW PGA Championships
- Peter Thompson was his mentor
- He played Golf with Bobby Locke
- He served his entire Club Professional career at NSW Golf Club
- He has been a PGA Member for over 60 years
- He is now 82
