Mo and Elissa discuss a bizarre happening that doesn't have a lot of heavy crime. The girl of an alcoholic father forces her to do an impossible alchemical task but she's aided by a mysterious stranger whom she pays with jewelry. When she's not able to pay, he demands her first-born child after she marries her captor.

Elissa brings an unusual case where an infant was traded by her parents for ... vegetables? She grew up in an awful household and eventually wound up helicopter parented so much she ended up literally imprisoned. A hapless idiot who had ties to the royal family happened to wander by and helps to liberate her from prison.

Elissa has found a strange case where everyone's behavior is criminal-- including the police. Step-mothers strike again as two children get abandoned to fend for themselves in the forest. They stumble upon a house owned by an old woman who practices cannibalism. Later, the girl (Gretel) is accused of murder when it was clearly self defense.
