Due to compensation (more eating drive and/or lower energy expenditure outside of cold exposed periods), cold exposure has been shown in several studies not to result in weight loss. It might even result in weight gain in some situations. This is in direct contradiction to some of the claims made by some of the biggest health influencers like Rhonda Patrick and Andrew Huberman.
