Leroy King, B-47 bomber pilot for the Strategic Air Command, awakens to find himself facing down the end of everything. As the DEFCON siren cuts through the early morning normalcy, signaling the beginning of the end, Leroy and his crew take to the sky with orders to deliver their multi-megaton payload to a target inside Russia.  The balance of power is not a game and yet, two opposing sides of a metaphorical chessboard are about to play out the most dangerous game in history, the aftermath of which remains to be seen. Will the last breath of oxygen on earth be used to call out check mate? The answer lies crouched behind a row of pawns in a frozen wilderness, the high ground… of thin air.
