From the frozen woes at Tesla Superchargers and other sites in Chicagoland to rental and rideshare drivers exacerbating slow charging sessions, we try to separate the facts from the inevitable sensationalism that such scenarios breed. Our returning guest Darren Orange brings some data and an experienced Tesla driver's perspective to contextualize the hyperbolic headlines.

After warming up with winter topics, we shift to setting higher standards for DC fast charging. Special guest Candice Jurick speaks to the consideration of charging station safety and accessibility, especially in remote and rural areas, while Walter talks about using Eric's site review template (NCSRM = News Coulomb Site Review Model) to grade some of the latest Pilot-Flying J charging stations.
