Oakland, California keeps getting terrible press in the media.  Crime, homelessness, violence on the streets.   Even In & Out went out! How bad is it?  What is true and false? Always look between the lines, Builder-developer Colin Behring, named by the San Francisco Times as one of 40 the most influential men under 40 in the Bay Area, takes issue with all that bad press.   Behring shares that Oakland was named by Conde’ Nast as the nations best cities for dining out.  One In-N-Out closed and three others opened.  And, his company, Behring Company, just completed a 39-story apartment tower, (live, work, play and go), on Oakland’s Broadway. With another 3 plus billion in development, there is much more to the future of Oakland than bad press.
