Colin Peters presents… DIEGO CALVO

Today’s podcast celebrates the 20th anniversary of Rock Nights, a party that holds special meaning for me as I have been resident DJ since its beginnings. We chat with Diego Calvo, the founder and promoter of the event, about two decades of rock 'n' roll mayhem and the party's origins in Ibiza back in 2005 at Rústic Bar. Since then, Rock Nights has made appearances at renowned venues such as Pacha, Space, Ushuaia, and Privilege, before ultimately finding its home at Pikes Ibiza.

Additionally, we chat about the party's future plans, about his concert series, Dorado Live Shows, and the importance of keeping the spirit of live music and rock 'n' roll alive on an island that is internationally famous for electronic music.

Celebramos el 20.º aniversario de Rock Nights, una fiesta que tiene un significado especial para mí, ya que soy DJ residente desde sus inicios. Hablamos con Diego Calvo, fundador y promotor del evento con quien charlaremos sobre estas dos décadas de caos rockero y de los orígenes de la fiesta en Ibiza, allá por 2005 en el Rústic Bar. Desde entonces, Rock Nights ha pasado por locales de renombre como Pacha, Space, Ushuaia y Privilege, antes de encontrar su hogar definitivo en Pikes Ibiza.

Además, comentaremos sobre los planes de futuro de la fiesta, sobre su serie de conciertos, Dorado Live Shows, y sobre la importancia de mantener vivo el espíritu de la música en directo y el rock “n” roll en una isla famosa internacionalmente por la música electrónica.
