Joe Lamantia creates three-dimensional art with the help of individuals and groups, his collaborators ranging from pre-schoolers to the elderly. In Joe’s world, the finished work of art is nowhere near as important as the cooperative process that created it. He works mainly in found and recycled objects as he and his friends, acquaintances, and students build whimsical, fantastical creatures and objects.
