Collabs are all the rage in social media, compelling individuals and brands into an online race to see how many matches can be made, and how many "likes" can result. But "likes" aren't necessarily good for the brand if the match is mismatched, or if there is no significant improvement that results from the match.. Synergies are therefore a desirable trait of working together.
