We play one of Project Rainfall's RPG that is exclusive to the Nintendo Wii, The Last Story on this episode of Is It Worth It? This game features a large-scale story written by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy! A colorful cast of characters, graphics that push the Wii to it's limits, a soundtrack from the legendary Nobuo Uematsu (also of Final Fantasy fame), why is this game not discussed more, and should it be?

This episode contains four REAL hidden gems, all under $25 (as of Aug 2026) AND unavailable on a digital market (for the most part). We challenged ourselves to find some really good games to collect that won't break the bank, and haven't been talked about by some of the other big platforms.

What games do you think are real hidden gems, not talked about, and need some love?

Magus is one of the most infamous games for being terrible, and yet the price has exploded in the wake of the PS3 store closure announcement. Berry and Bryan come together to play this game and talk about is it worth the price, should you pick it up, is it even worth playing? Sitting at a Metacritic score of 32, let's see if they were right and if this game should be included in your collection.

Music from Magus, "i am" composed and performed by the casper (2013).

If there is one thing that we both love, it's the PSP. Sony's dive into the handheld market, we highlight the handheld console, games, and our personal experience with it. Not only does it have a truly expansive library, but also expansive special edition variations for the console itself.

What titles are your favorite for the PSP?

Berry brings to the round table Kingsley's Adventure for the PS1. A little platformer game from 1999 about a fox on a quest to become a True Knight, will the scarcity of this game help the argument and make it worth the price, or will it fade into obscurity?
