Let’s talk about college tuition. How it’s gone up, how students and their parents pay for it, and what state legislatures are doing to try to reign it in.

Lois Miller is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics in the Darla Moore School of Business. She received her PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2024. She is an applied microeconomist with interests in labor economics, public economics, and the economics of education. She mostly researches topics in higher education, with a focus on how access to, and resources within, postsecondary education can affect inequality and social mobility.

  • Policies that help students make better higher ed choices
