It’s the first episode of our new sports show for the Collider Sports channel. Week 1 of the NFL preseason kicked off last night and John Rocha and Matt Knost are here to give you their thoughts on the players that stood out for them, the storylines that emerged from the games, and that pregame confrontation between Cam Newton and Kelvin Benjamin before the Panthers/Bills game.

Baker Mayfield was making his debut for the Browns last night as they took on the Giants. Rocha and Knost give you their overall impression of the rookie and if he deserved the offseason hype. They also look at Josh Allen and Saquon Barkley’s performances last night for the Bills and Giants respectively. Andrew Luck and Ryan Tannehill returned after long absences and the guys give you their overall thoughts about how they played and what they had to say afterwards. They also look at a few of the teams’ situations going into these games and more!
